oak and resin coffee table

Commissioned by a local family and inspired by  local woodland scenes.

Using the solid and prominent grained oak sourced from a local garden in Ampfield, Hampshire.   The wood is complimented by the highly polished  blue translucent resin central flow, with the added  accents of solid blue highlighting the features of the wood.

A strong symbolic image of oak has developed in which the tree has been associated with longevity, strength, stability, endurance, fertility, power, justice, and honesty

The robust and unusual triple ball-footed support is hand crafted using highly polished steel.
